Rotograph D - White Image 0%

Article #: 104

See the following how to troubleshoot white image 0% for Rotograph D

If you have all options enable in configuration menu (see below) you will be able to see % on the final image as seen below.

If the image shows 0% and x-ray is white as shown, we must determine if 1) there is no emission from the tube or 2) sensor /

sensor cables have an issue.

First check to see if the machine is emitting radiation via a fluorescent screen (n. 6108910100) or intensifying screen.
- If the machine is not emitting x-ray, see the following article for No Exposure Troubleshooting.
- If the machine is emitting x-ray, follow the steps here below

1. Find the PANORAMIX_DLL.INI file in program files or program data directory
2. Set GENERATE_PAN_FILE=1 and save
3. Tape the copper plate (n. 5807900800) to the sensor cover opening completely covering the open slot in the cover.

4. Have a staff member insert the knobs of the black round centering tool into the chin rest

(remove the bite stick first - drawing attached)

5. Take a pano with copper plate on the sensor and round tool in chinrest
6. In the PC look for a .pan file (file starts with PUSB)
7. Send the .pan file to Villa representative along with the regular image file for analysis

8. If you are onsite, you may check the fuses of the sensor board (3 small fuses seen below). If fuses are ok, a Villa

representative may suggest you connect a new N2 Signal Cable n. 6208532000 (harness running through arm to

the sensor board).
